Tip 2 - Make-Up
People think that all make-up is bad for your skin, but it is only bad if you use the wrong things. The is a list of the right make-up brands to use:
-Maybelline
-Max Factor
-Bourjois
-The Body Shop
-Clinique
-Rimmel
-Topshop
-Mac
Foundation:
- For a new-comer to all things make-up or foundation world then try using Tinted Moisturizer from the Natural Collection at Boots.
-If you are more used to make up then wear Maybelline's Dream Satin Liquid but not too orange because, trust me, it shows - been there, done that.
I personally think that Mac is the best because they give out the exact colour that is shown and none of it is bad for your skin.
If you buy cheap stuff from Super drug there is not 100% gurantee that it will be clean, clar, pure, or helathy for your skin. My eyeliner stings (from Super drug) in my eyes if my eyes water because it does not dry properly - no eyeliner from there :L except from the brands there :)
If you have trouble with putting on eyeliner right, try you tube videos with tutorials or practice because practice makes perfect! ;) it will all seem easy and quick if you practice.
Concealer from Mac or Body Shop is very useful and is very good at concealing but make sure you get the right skin colour - go for a bit darker concealer pencil because then if you rub it is then it blends in with your skin tone.
But DO NOT apply make-up on top of open spots because it could lead to a BAD result.
For good brushes and appliance kit go for Body Shop or MAC yet again (or the 'Make-Up Store' - VERY good), Body Shop is more affordable but if you want to go for a rally cheap price search online or Boots or Clinique.
But try NOT to overload on the Loreal guys, we must all be against animal TESTING because this is just what they do so please guys, especially not the face wipes so try and avoid overloading, PLEASE!
Soap & Glory do nice make-up bags and also the Wonder Woman Mac set is very good with brushes and bag sets, and it also does really good eyeliner felt tips, they are easier to apply.
Mac also do very good cream eyeliner with a brush applicant (fluidline) from there too. :)
Also, if you are going for a more bold look go from pure black -recommended by yours truly! And if you prefer liquid liner then use Loreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss - very good but if it dries do not go over it again or else it will chip and scratch off easily. :)
For pencil eyeliner use (Mac pencil eyeliners go blunt and cannot be sharpened most of the time - well, it happened with me anyways) Bourjois, they do good Kohl black eyeliner and also easy to sharpen, and good felt tip eyeliner for liquid eyeliner but wait for it to dry for a while and put on a couple of coats if you are doing any flicks off the outline of the eye.
Any shops in London or in a city which sell their own make-up are normally really good, especially the eyeshadow because it gives out the exact colour and strong hairspray .e.t.c. :) But they can be quite expensive.
Must haves:
-Light Me Up -High Shine Lipgloss - Me Me Me
-Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation
-Mac CremeSheen Lipstick
-Mascara - Elizabeth Arden - Double Density
-Bourjois - Ultra Black Kohl & Contour Pencil Eyeliner &Very Long-Lasting Felt Tip Eyeliner
-Mac Blush
-Eye-Brow Brush, also can be used for separating eyelashes
This was Georgia and I hope you enjoyed my make-up Polyvore Tip, I will do separate sets for different make-up products. :)
Xx
